Weggis celebrated the Swiss National Day at the Weggis Lakeside Pavilion or “Pavillon am See” on August 01, 2010. Several groups of children and adults participated and performed Swiss folk dances and folk songs. There were flag throwers and alphorn blowers too. It rained a little bit just when the program was about to end but it never stopped the locals celebrating the Swiss National Day in Weggis.
