Mark Twain Monument
In honor of Mark Twain, a monument was built in Weggis under the oak tree where Mark Twain was normally sitting down during his 2 months stay in Weggis in Summer of 1897.

Mark Twain was an American writer who wrote the famous The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and The Prince and the Pauper novels.
