Folk music is getting popular in Switzerland. Weggis is one of those places in Switzerland organizing a three-day affair for folk music called Heirassa Festival in memory of Alois “Heirassa” Schilliger, a renowned folk musician from Weggis.
But before the Heirassa Festival main event which will be held on June 11-13, 2010 in Weggis, there will be several Pre-Heirassa Festival concerts in different places in Weggis from January 2010 to June 2010 to be performed by various popular groups in Switzerland.
